Description
This document is intended to serve as a guide for the UP BIM team, handling IFC data and providing a better understanding of the settings available within BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, discussing how they can influence the quality and content of IFC files. Since the UP BIM team will use Autodesk Revit as the main BIM modelling software, the present session serves as an IFC Revit manual and sets out the basics of IFC by explaining in detail how to export, link and open IFC files.
This guideline document integrates state-of-the-art documentation and instructions published in the literature:
