Conductance of Potassium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, and Sodium Bromide in Methanol-water Mixture at 35°
Creators
Description
Conductance of potassium chloride, sodium chloride, and sodium bromide is methanol-water (76.24 w/w) have been measured at 35°. The equivalent conductance at zero concentration end the dissociation constants have been determined by using the method, of Fuoss and Kraus and that of Shedloveky. The values obtained by the two methods are in good agreement. The diameters of the ion pairs have also been calculated, employing Bjerum's and Stoke's methods.
