Polargroaphic Estimation of Gam Arabic

A poiarographic method for the estimation of gum arabic has boon presented. The gum appears to form a complex with the supporting electrolyte. This complex suffers reduction at the Hg-dropping cathode, the number of electrons involved in the process being unity.
