Chorotype. W-Mediterranean.
Distribution in North Africa. Morocco and Canary Islands (Jäch & Skale 2015) and Algeria (Lamine et al. 2019).
Moroccan distribution. Rif and Pré-Rif: Melilia (Kocher 1958) and Nador (Bennas et al. 2001; Chavanon et al. 2004). Central Plateau: Rabat (Orchymont 1935; Kocher 1958; Jäch 1989a). High Atlas: Essaouira (Jäch 1989a). Saharan domain: Tan-Tan (Bennas et al. 2016).
