Anteon abjectum Olmi 1996c: 171 (synonymized by Olmi, 1998f); type locality: Tayuling (Taiwan, China); Olmi 1998f: 157.

Description of Male. Fully winged; length 3.1–3.4 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna with ventral side testaceous and dorsal side brown, except segment 1 completely testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs testaceous, except metacoxa partly brown. Antenna filiform; antennal segments in following proportions: 13:8:13:12:11:11:11:11:11:16. Head shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures; frontal line absent, or incomplete and only hardly visible in front of anterior ocellus; POL = 6.5; OL = 3; OOL = 9; OPL = 6; TL = 6; occipital carina complete. Scutum, scutellum and metanotum shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.6–0.7 length of scutum. Propodeum reticulate rugose, with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels, lateral areas dull and rugose and median area shiny, smooth, unsculptured. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein shorter than proximal part (6:14). Paramere (Plate 36C) much shorter than penis, without distal inner process. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Female. Unknown.

Material examined. Types: ♂ holotype of A. montanum: CHINA: Zhejiang, Mt. Gutianshan, 29°02'N 118°01'E (ZJUC); ♂ holotype of A. abjectum: CHINA: Taiwan, Hualien, Tayuling, 2560 m, 10–16.VI.1980, Malaise trap, K.S. Lin & B.H. Chen leg. (TARI). Paratypes of A. montanum: same locality label as holotype, 4♂ (three in ZJUC, one in AMN H). Paratypes of A. abjectum: same locality label as holotype, 1♂ (TARI); CHINA: Taiwan, Nantou, Meifeng, 2150 m, 24–26.VI.1981, K.S. Lin & W.S. Tang leg., 1♂ (TARI); Taiwan, Tungpu, 1200 m, 5–8.X.1981, 18–23.XI.1981, K.S. Lin & W.S. Tang leg., 2♂ (TARI); same locality label, 22–25.XI.1982, 10–14.I.1983, K.C. Chou & S.P. Huang leg., 2♂ (TARI); same locality label, X. 1985, XII.1985, K.S. Lin leg., 3♂ (TARI); same locality label, 25–29.IX.1980, L.Y. Chou & T. Lin leg., 1♂ (TARI); same locality label, 28.IV–2.V.1981, T. Lin & C.J. Lee leg., 6♂ (two in TARI, four in AMNH).
