The preparation and properties of a large number of N-aryl hydroxamic acids were reported recentlyl- 4-In the present communication preparation and spectral properties of 19 N-aryl hydroxarnw tteids are described, derived from N-phenylhydroxylamine and N-(o, m, or p) tolylhydroxylarnme.
