Description

Inequalities were largely due to caste religion in our earlier society. Thus, the people suffered greatly. This is Kali. ‘Kali is the filth in the mind. To conquer this Kali, on the twentieth day of February in 1008, Lord Vishnu incarnated as Vaikuntha. The oppressed people were even denied entry into the large temples built for deities like Shiva, Vishnu, etc. The temple should not even go through the streets and distant boundaries were defined to speak to the upper castes. Those who went beyond the limits were cut down. The commoners were destined to serve without pay. It was forbidden to draw water, use umbrellas, shoes, etc. In public wells, the poor could not fight the ruling class and the deceitful whites. The Lord was compelled to defend the downtrodden and save this society. So, Mahavishnu made his aspect Vaikundara, born on earth. Formerly incarnated in the womb of the mother, the physical son grew up and the one who lived in the world went into the sea and returned as an aspect of Mahavishnu. His incarnation characterised the human reform of people divided by caste. The social revolution started with the birth of Ayya Vaikundar. For the Pandavas in the last age, the born Mayan later emerged as Vaikundara for the cruel witnesses of Kali. Ayya appeared at a place called Swamithoppu in Kanyakumari district. The Swati Maharaja ruled the princely state of Travancore. Maharaja Ayya considered Vaikundar as his enemy. So Vaikundara paid tribute to me and asked Ayya if Sami would come and be born in the Santror clan who do ministries. They threw the starving tiger on Ayya. But nothing could get close to Ayya. Ayya Vaikundar is the union of Saiva and Vaishnavism in justice and philosophy. Vishnu is the body and Shiva is the life. Ayya is the united incarnation of these two idols. He initiated a revolution by creating a separate system of worship for people who were forbidden to enter the temple on the grounds that they were oppressed people. He created for them a “wedding greeting” and a “seal well”, which is a sacred fountain. He introduced Tamil Mantras like ‘Ukappadippu’, ‘Uchippadippu’. He said not to give tax on anyone and live as a slave .Love is the basis for attaining God, so do not sacrifice your life. Thus, this article lets to know Ayya Vaikundar’s Samadharma Social Revolution, who brought about change in society from time to time for the people.
