Description
The FarFish project will collect considerable amount of non-personally identifiable data as well as personal data. It is recognised by the project consortia that privacy and data security is of the upmost importance and will be given special attention. FarFish will follow national and EU regulations on data protection; in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which enters into force in May 2018.
The purpose of this document is to provide detailed information on the procedures that will be implemented for collection, storage, protection, retention and destruction of data within the FarFish project and to confirm that they comply with national and EU legislation.
The document does also provide detailed information on the informed consent procedures that will be implemented regarding the collection, storage and protection of personal data in the project.
