X-Ray Diffraction Study of Clay-Humus Complexes

The nature of interaction products of an illitic soil clay mineral and soil humic compound has been investigated by X-ray diffraction studies. It appears that most of these humus compounds are held on the external surfaces, broken bonds and edges of clay.
