(RS10) The Attitude towards Telerehabilitation Among Cerebral Stroke Patients Caregivers in Central Region of Malaysia: A Cross-sectional Survey

Introduction:
Telerehabilitation is the ability to provide distance support, evaluation and intervention to individuals who are undergoing rehabilitation therapy through telecommunication. This study aimed to explore the attitude towards telerehabilitation among the caregivers of cerebral stroke patients in central region of Malaysia.
Results:
Seventy percent of the caregivers were aware of the telerehabilitation technology among which 60.5% were willing to use this technology for rehabilitation purpose. Out of all the type of devices, 50% of the caregivers demonstrated high confidence level in using smartphones but then, only 25.7% demonstrated high confidence level in using the video call services for telerehabilitation service.
Discussion/Conclusion:
Majority of the caregivers in central region of Malaysia demonstrated positive attitude towards telerehabilitation service for the stroke patients .
