Unele particularități și dificultăți în materia protecției drepturilor copilului aflat în conflict cu legea în Republica Moldova

The juvenile justice sector in the Republic of Moldova has undergone significant reforms in recent years. Our state, based on its international obligations, has embarked on a massive and unprecedented reform of its justice system with the approval of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy and the Action Plan for 2011-2016, which sets the path to a more efficient and child friendly justice system. In this article, the author elucidates some peculiarities of the protection of the rights of the child in conflict with the law in the Republic of Moldova, as well as some existing difficulties in the matter, formulating a series of recommendations in order to remedy the existing gaps.
