Optimum Tuning of PI Controller in Cascade Control System for Driving DC Motor Based on Genetic Algorithm
Description
Tuning of proportional integral PI controllers considered as big challenge for researchers and Industrial operators. This paper shows the tuning of proportional integral controller in cascade control system for driving DC motor by using genetic algorithm technique to find the mean square error's MSE lowest value in the drive system. PI has tuned by using both Nicolas – Ziegler and Genetic algorithm methods and the results have been compared after simulating the drive system in MATLAB/Simulink environment.
