Description
Malawidopsis spec. D gen. et sp. nov.
Fig. 18D
Abbreviated description: Cp elongated, with RV widely overlapping LV antero- and postero-ventrally, where valves are gaping. In dorsal view, Cp relatively wide and with rounded lateral sides. External valve surface smooth, set with few setae and pits.
Measurements: length of female = 470–493 µm.
Locality: Metangula, Mozambique at 7 m depth (21/3/1999).
