Corticacarus placophorus Schwoerbel, 1986: 76; Cook 1988: 110.
Remarks
Previously reported from south Central Chile (Schwoerbel 1986; Cook 1988). Therefore, the new records represent a considerable range extension.
Notes
Published as part of Smit, Harry, 2002, Rheophilic water mites from southern Argentina, with the description of one new genus and three new species (Acari: Hydrachnidia), pp. 1-23 in Zootaxa 103 on page 16, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.156012
