Description

Family Tenuipalpidae

Pentamerismus oregonensis McGregor, 1949: 27.

Ehara (1966) first reported this species from Brazil, on Cupressus lusitanica Mill. from Rio Claro, São Paulo.

A recent collection revealed its presence in Piracicaba, São Paulo.

Specimens examined: 5 females from Cupressus sempervirens L., 8 February 2000, Piracicaba, São Paulo, coll. CHWF.
