Description

Ozodicera (Dihexaclonus) tripallens Alexander, 1942

Alexander, 1942: 42–44 (original description); 71, figures 2 (wing), 6 (antenna) and 9 (male terminalia). Type locality: Brazil, São Paulo, Juquiá.

Holotype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Brazil | São Paulo | 400m; XI - 40 [November, 1940] | Travassos | Juquiá”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ HOLOTYPE ♂ | Ozodicera | tripallens | C. P. Alexander”.

Preservation: mounted at the tip of a pinned paper rectangle; part of abdomen and terminalia mounted on a plastic slide pinned with the specimen. Missing parts: antennae and right hind leg.
