Description

Stenistoderus cephalotes (Kraatz, 1858)

Material examined. Bulgaria: Nesebâr, T.Palm 2. VII.1965, 1 ex. (MZLU), 1 ex. (cB). Greece: Corfu, Dassia, T.Palm V.1964, 1 ex. (cB); Corfu, Triklinon, T.Palm V. 1964, 1 ex. (MZLU); Corfu, Valianiti, T.Palm V.1964, 1 ex. (MZLU); Kerkyra, T.Palm V.1964, 2 exx. (cB).

Notes. Male genital segment, its sternite and the aedeagus are as in Figs. 3–5 (the figures provided by the previous autors (see for example Coiffait 1956) are approximate).

Distribution. This species was known from France, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Armenia, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon and North Africa (Herman 2001) but not expressly from Corfu. This is also a new record for Bulgaria.

Notes
