Description
In modern economic conditions, the demand for large-scale production in agriculture is growing, but the realization of this need involves attracting significant investment. Traditional sources of financing of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine are term loans, financial cards of farmers, overdrafts, credit lines, loans secured by fixed assets. Although these sources of funding are traditional, they are available mainly to medium and large businesses in the agricultural sector. It is worth noting that the predominant unavailability of these sources for small businesses, which form the basis of the agricultural sector, is a constraint in the process of managing the development of their financial activities. Therefore, there is a need to find innovative tools that are available to SMEs in the agricultural sector and a way to ensure their availability. The purpose of the article is to systematize innovative tools for mobilizing financial resources by agricultural enterprises and justify how to ensure their availability in Ukraine. The article systematizes domestic and foreign scientific literature, as a result of which innovative tools for mobilization of financial resources for agricultural enterprises of Ukraine are highlighted. An analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of these tools for agricultural enterprises is made. It is substantiated that in order to ensure the availability of innovative sources of mobilization of financial resources for an agricultural enterprise, it is expedient for enterprises to cooperate in agricultural value chains. An expert survey was conducted on fifteen agricultural enterprises in Odesa oblast, which revealed that joining the agrarian value chain will help expand the list of their sources of funding both on the basis of innovative and traditional tools for mobilizing financial resources. The main shortcomings in the functioning of value chains in the agricultural sector of Ukraine have been identified.
