Description

2. Picobia currucae Skoracki et Magowski, 2001

This species was described from Sylvia curruca (L.) (Sylviidae) from Poland (Skoracki & Magowski 2001) and since then it was not rediscovered again.

Material examined. Five females from quills (body feathers) of the Orphean Warbler Sylvia hortensis (Gmelin) (new host); Jordan, Al-Dhleil, 19 March 2003, leg. M. Skoracki.
