Description

Desmopachria granum (LeConte, 1855)

Incorrect subsequent spelling: Desmopachria grana (LeConte, 1855:294) (Nilsson 2001:215). Comment: The original spelling ' granum ' is a Latin noun in apposition meaning seed. Consequently, the ending is constant relative to the gender of the associated genus name. The incorrect spelling ' grana ' was seemingly introduced by Zimmermann (1919:130).
