Achelia langi (Dohrn, 1881)
In the previous compilations of the Mediterranean pycnogonid fauna (Arnaud 1987, Chimenz & Lattanzi 2003) this species was not recorded in the eastern basin of the Mediterranean. Thus the paper of Kocak & Katagan (2007b) and the present contribution are the first records for the entire region.

Published as part of Krapp, Franz, Kocak, Cengiz & Katagan, Tuncer, 2008, Pycnogonida (Arthropoda) from the eastern Mediterranean Sea with description of a new species of Anoplodactylus, pp. 57-68 in Zootaxa 1686 on page 61, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.180521
