Anomalon basale (Cresson, 1865)

Trachynotus basalis Cresson, 1865: 50.

Anomalon basale (Cresson, 1865). Assigned by Townes and Townes (1966).

Holotype 3 (IES # 394) lacking wings. This specimen is labeled as type and agrees with the original description of the species; however there is a note in Gundlach’s handwriting in his copy of Cresson’s paper that the specimen was returned to ANSP.
