Description
Sperchonopsis verrucosa (Protz, 1896)
New records: Afyon Province, Sandıklı, Akdaġ stream, 25.vi.2006, Aşçı 7/7/0. Records from Turkey: Erzurum and Muş Provinces (Özkan 1989); Erzurum Province (Boyacı & Özkan 2007a); Rize Province (Pešić et al. 2007); Afyon Province (Aşçı et al. 2006 – 2007). Habitat: In low-order streams, often on muddy, fine sediment; occasionally in the hyporheic; rhithrobiont. Distribution: Holarctic.
