Teratothyasides (Hansvietsia) scutulatus Smit & Pesic 2009
Description
Teratothyasides (Hansvietsia) scutulatus Smit & Pesic, 2009
(Fig. 1)
Material examined. Comoros, Mayotte: Riv. Batirini, 12°45'37,7"S 45°06'42,6"E, 5 October 2008, 1/0/0.
Remarks. The shape of the capitulum of the holotype could not be ascertained in the original description (Smit et al. 2009), and therefore the species was not assigned to a subgenus. The specimen reported here 1037 long and 632 wide, due to a relative short capitulum (Fig. 1), and the presence of nine pairs of acetabula, it is assigned to the subgenus Hansvietsia.
