Description
Genus Plekocheilus Guilding, 1828
Type species by monotypy: Caprella undulata Guilding 1828 = Voluta aurissileni Born, 1780.
Remarks. The classification within this genus is based on Breure (1979). Additional preliminary phylogenetic data corroborate the current subdivision into subgenera (Breure, unpublished data).
