Description

Key to world species of Keesia (females)

1 Mesosoma clearly convex (Fig. 3), length about 1.4× width and about 1.6× height; scutellum and dorsellum clearly in different planes; dorsellum about 1.7× as long as median length of propodeum; metasoma about 1.3× as long as mesosoma; metasomal tergites subequal in length, last ones not retracted; ovipositor sheaths about half length of hind tibia; hypopygium near tip of metasoma (Fig. 3)............................................................. K. dorsellata Mitroiu, sp. nov.

- Mesosoma flattened (Fig. 4), length about 1.9× width and 2.75× height; scutellum and dorsellum virtually in same plane; dorsellum about 2.4× as long as median length of propodeum; metasoma slightly shorter than mesosoma; first three metasomal tergites larger, last ones partly retracted; ovipositor sheaths about 1/3 length of hind tibia; hypopygium reaching about 2/3 length of metasoma (Fig. 4)....................................................... K. tripotini Mitroiu, sp. nov.
