Description

Octodrilus transpadanus (Rosa, 1884)

Allolobophora transpadana Rosa, 1884: 45.

Allolobophora cyanea var. recta: Ribaucourt 1896: 67.

Octolasium rectum: Černosvitov 1934: 76.

Octolasium (Octodrilus) transpadanum: Zicsi 1973: 226; Šapkarev 1978: 75. Octodrilus transpadanus: Omodeo and Rota 1989: 183; Misirlioġlu 2002: 18; Csuzdi et al. 2006: 24.

Ecological group: endogeic (Szlavecz et al. 2010).

Habitat: beech forests (Kostecka & Skoczeń 1993).

Zoogeographical distribution type: Palearctic (Milutinoviċ et al. 2010).

Distribution in Bulgaria: low abundance in forests in whole country. This species is spread all over in the Balkans (Mršiċ 1991).
