Material examined. ECUADOR: Manabi, Puerto Lopez, Aguas Blancas, ex aguas sulfureas, 24.XI.2006, G. Onore legit, 1 3 macropterous, FMB.
Notes. Described from Argentina, this species is widespread in South and Central America. This is the first record of this species in Ecuador.
