Nysius senecionis subsp. aegyptiacus Priesner & Alfieri 1953

Description

Nysius senecionis aegyptiacus Priesner & Alfieri, 1953

Distribution in Iran. Hormozgan (Linnavuori 2004).

General distribution. Eremian, Egypt, Arabic peninsula; known in Sudanese region.

Comments. According to Péricart (1998a) there are 7 samples in the typical series, 2 of them really are senecionis aegyptiacus and 5 belong to nominal form; so he synonymized S. aegyptiacus, a name resurrected by Linnavuori (2004).
