Holotype ♂. Canary Islands. Tenerife, Cueva Grande de Chío: 20.I.1989 I. Izquierdo leg. (36/2010) (T-CG-154) (DZUL 28222).
Current status: valid species.
Additional notes: the collecting date 20.I.1986 published in the decription (Wunderlich 2012) is wrong. The correct date is 20.I.1989, as indicated on the original label and registered in DZUL data base.
