Allomermis solenopsi Poinar, Porter, Bradley & Hyman, 2007

Type host. Solenopsis invicta Buren (Hymenoptera: Formicidae).

Site of infection. Gaster.

Type locality. Argentina, Corrientes Province, Estación Biológica Corrientes (27º33ʹS, 58º41ʹW).

Holotype: 3 MLP 5651. Paratype: MLP 5622 (allotype Ƥ).

Remarks. Paratypes 3 and Ƥ deposited in the United States Department of Agriculture, Nematode Laboratory, Beltsville, Maryland and the authors’ collections.
