Etymology. I dedicate this species to my mother, Lidia Anna Kucińska.

Diagnosis. This species is similar to A. sadabandeirus in body shape (Figs 20, 21) and the sculpture of the pronotum (punctures 0.5–1.0 diameters apart—Fig. 11). The two species can be distinguished by the eye structure (eye completely divided by genal canthus in A. sadabandeirus) and by the dullness of elytral intervals (shiny in A. sadabandeirus; dull in A. lidiae sp. n.).

Description. Measurements. Body—length = 10.5–12.0 mm; width ratio elytra/pronotum ca. 1.1; length ratio elytra/the middle of pronotum ca. 2.2–2.4. Clypeus—clypeal emargination width/depth ratio ca. 5.3.

Antennae—length ratio antenna/pronotum (from tip of anterior pronotal angle to tip of posterior pronotal angle) ca. 0.9; ratio length of antenna/width of 3rd antennomere ca. 7.5; length ratio of antennomere 3rd/2nd ca. 4.0. Maxillary palp—ratio width of maxillary palp/length of 3rd antennomere ca. 1.2. Pronotum—middle of pronotum length/ width ratio ca. 0.6; length ratio middle of pronotum length/anterior pronotal angles (from tip of anterior pronotal angle to tip of posterior pronotal angle) ca. 0.9. Elytra—elytra length/width ratio = 1.2–1.3. Scutellum—width ratio anterior margin of elytra/scutellum at base ca. 3.7. Metaventrite—length ratio cavity of hind coxa/metaventrite between the insertions of mid and hind coxae ca. 2.5. Abdomen—width ratio process of I abdominal ventrite/ process of metaventrite ca. 2.2. Legs—both sexes protibia length/width ratio ca. 5.9; both sexes profemur length/ width ratio ca. 4.0. Tarsi—length ratio metatarsomere 1st/2nd ca. 2.0.

Habitus as in Fig. 20.

Dorsal side of head with conspicuous punctures. Frontoclypeal suture distinct (Fig. 9). Mentum with an indentation on the apical part; median part narrow (Fig. 6). Submentum with short base (Fig. 6).

Pronotal disc shiny, with conspicuous punctures (0.5–1.0 diameters apart) (Fig. 11). Anterior border of pronotum interrupted in the middle. Lateral sides of pronotal disc without longitudinal depressions (Fig. 11).

Elytral rows with conspicuous punctures (0.5–1.0 diameters apart—Fig. 13). Intervals dull, with relatively small punctures 0.5–1.0 diameters apart (Fig. 13). Elytral base sinusoidal. Elytral humeri rounded. Scutellum triangular.

Intercoxal process of prosternum straight with complete bordering (Fig. 12). 5th abdominal ventrite bordered (Fig. 8).

Protibiae of both sexes simple (evenly narrowing towards apex).

Apical part of aedeagal tegmen equal to 0.2 of the rest of tegmen. Parameres narrowing to apex. Clavae strait (Fig. 10).

Paraproct longer then coxites. First two sclerites wide and short; remaining sclerites narrow and long. Bursa copulatrix without sclerite.

Distribution. This species has been collected in the following ecoregions: southern Miombo woodlands, Zambezian and Mopane woodlands (Fig. 28).
