Spiro Heterocycles. Part-XIX. Synthesis and Insecticidal Activity of some New Fluorine-containing Spiro[ 4H-1-benzo- pyran-4,3-[3H]-indole]-3- carbonitriles/carboxyethylesters

A number of fluorinated spiro[4H-1-benzopyran-4,3'-[3H]indole]-3-carbonitriles/ carboxyethylesters have been synthesised and tested for their insecticidal activity against Prodenja litura and Musca domestica. The structures of the compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis, ir, pmr and mass spectral studies.
