The conductance studies of hydrochlorides of well-known druge (like pseudoephedrine, isoxsuprine, metoclopramide, pentazocine, propranalol, dicyclomine and ᴅʟ-phenylpropanolamine) in aqueous solutions have been made. The analysis of the results using Shedlovsky's equation indicates that the compounds are associated in aqueous solutions. Improved values of the association constants Kᴀ and Ʌo have been determined using Fuoss equation. The Ʌo values of the cations compare very well with those fortetraalkylammonium ions and it is expected that they undergo hydrophobicinteractions in aqueous solutions.
