Taunaya rugosa Fonseca
Taunaya rugosa Fonseca, 1934b: 352 [type-species of Taunaya, by original designation], Figs. 1–4 [line drawings: dorsal and lateral view, fore- and hindwing]; Metcalf and Wade, 1965a: 1333; McKamey, 1998a: 155. Original repository: MPSP.
Female holotype from BRAZIL: São Paulo: Jundiaí: "SÃO PAULO \ Jundiahy \ [?]", " Taunaya \ rugosa Fons [eca]. \ Fonseca det. [19] 34 \ [?]", [circular dark blue label, no written data]. Specimen pinned through right side of pronotum; wings and right legs missing.
