Stigmella floslactella Haworth 1828
Description
30. Stigmella floslactella (Haworth, 1828)
Host-plants. Unknown in the Crimea; possibly Carpinus betulus L. and particularly C. orientalis Mill. or Corylus avellana L. as in other regions.
Type of distribution (chorological group). Euro-Submediterranean; the species occurs from Spain and Ireland to Finland, central European Russia and the western Caucasus.
Material examined. CRIMEA: 1♂, 20 km SW Feodosiya, Karadag Reserve, 12.vii.1977, leg. M. Falkovitsh.
Remarks. The species is rare in the Crimea: highly limited in distribution and not abundant (no leaf-mines collected, at light only).
