Hoplitis (Hoplitis) bombiformis Zanden, 1991: 167.
Type material: Holotype ♀, “ 20 km E Yüksekova, 2200m ” (Turkey), Naturalis Biodiversity Center Leiden.
New records. TURKEY, Hakkari: S Varegöz/Mt. Sat, 6.8.1986; Tunceli: Pülümür gecidi near Tunceli, 8.7.1975.
Distribution. Eastern Turkey.
Pollen hosts. The only pollen load available so far consisted of pollen of Centaurea (Asteraceae).
Nesting biology. Unknown.
Note. Male unknown.
