Tribe Nebriini Laporte, 1834
Note: The species Leistus (Pogonophorus) hermonis Piochard de la Brûlerie, 1875, has been reported from the Provinces Mazandaran by Samin & Sakenin (2014) and East Azerbaijan by Ghahari et al. (2010), while it is restricted to Lebanon (Farkač 2005), and the species Nebria (Alpaeus) alpicola Motschulsky, 1866 and Nebria (Alpaeus) wiedemanni Fischer von Waldheim, 1844, have been reported from the Provinces Golestan by Samin & Kesdek (2014) and East/West Azerbaijan by Ghahari et al. (2010) are endemic of Turkey (Farkač & Janata, 2003). We have excluded these species from the list as being dubious for Iran.
