Dacnusa gentianae Griffiths, 1967

Distribution in Iran. Isfahan (Ghahari et al. 2011c; Khajeh et al. 2014).

Distribution outside Iran. Austria, Germany and Poland (Griffiths 1967; Fauna Europea; Yu et al. 2012), Hungary and former Yugoslavia (Yu et al. 2012), Serbia (Žikić et al. 2000; Yu et al. 2012), Turkey (Civelek and La Salle 2005; Yildirim et al. 2010; Yu et al. 2012), Ukraine (Perepechayenko 2009).

Host records. Chromatomyia gentianae (Hendel, 1920) on Gentiana asclepeadia L., Ch. swertiae (Hering, 1937) and Ch. vernalis (Greschke, 1957) on Gentiana verna L. (Diptera: Agromyzidae) (Griffiths 1967; Yu et al. 2012), and Ch. horticola (Goureau, 1851) (Civelek and Önder 1999; Civelek and La Salle 2005).
