Description
Platypalpus ruficornis (von Roser)
Tachydromia ruficornis von Roser, 1840: 54.
Material examined. RUSSIA: Krasnodarskiy Territory: Taman’ Peninsula, foreland Chushka, 21.vi.2013, Kustov (1 ♂, KSU).
Distribution. Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Britain, France, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Russia (the Crimea, Krasnodarskiy Territory).
Remarks. The species is recorded from the Caucasus for the first time.
