Diagnostic characters (female). Body length 4.2–6.1 mm; antenna with 37–39 segments; compound eyes medium-sized (Fig. 4 A); face 1.6–1.7 × as wide as its height, hypoclypeal depression 0.6–0.7 × as wide as its distance from compound eye (Fig. 4 B); postocellar line 1.2–1.3 × and ocular-ocellar line 2.2–2.3 × longer than ocellar diameter (Fig. 4 C), length of temple 0.6–0.7 × length of compound eye in dorsal view (Fig. 4 C); mesopleuron rugose (Fig. 4 D); vein r of fore wing 0.3 × as long as 3-SR, vein 2-CU1 2.0 × longer than vein 1-CU1 (Fig. 4 E), marginal cell of hind wing parallel-sided apically; claws simple; first and second metasomal tergites rugose, second metasomal tergite transverse, 1.3–1.4 × wider than its length, third and following metasomal tergites punctulate (Fig. 4 F).

Coloration. Body to variable degree reddish yellow; antenna yellow to dark; head completely reddish yellow except stemmaticum (Fig. 4 C); mesonotum and scutellum reddish yellow (Fig. 8 C), propodeum variable, usually black; legs completely reddish yellow; metasomal tergites variable, black to completely yellow.

General distribution. Palaearctic.

Distribution in Iran. Not exactly defined (Telenga 1941), Sistan & Baluchestan (Hedwig 1957), Mazandaran (Babol) (Ghahari et al. 2009), Isfahan (Ghahari et al. 2011c), Fars (Lashkari-Bod et al. 2011), Alborz, Tehran, Guilan and Mazandaran (Noor) provinces (current study).

Remarks. Very frequently collected.
