Description

Microplitis rufiventris Kokujev, 1914

Distribution in Iran. Alborz, Tehran (Farahani et al. 2014).

Distribution outside Iran. Afghanistan, China, Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Romania, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan (Yu et al. 2012).

Host records. This species is considered as a solitary endoparasitoid of the American bollworm Helicoverpa armigera, cotton leafworm Spodoptera littoralis and the lesser cotton worm Spodoptera exigua (Hegazi and Führer 1985; Yu et al. 2012). Yu et al. (2012) reported this species from Chelonis inanitus, Pteromalus semotus, Spodoptera cilium, and S. frugiperda.
