Head (Figs 4, 5). Mandible with teeth small, subupper very small. Apical margin of median clypeal lobe straight. Flagellomeres long; four first antennomeres in ratio about 14:4:8:7; pedicel 0.7 × as long as wide; F1 long, 2.0 × as long as wide; F9 1.7 × as long as wide; flagellar setae suberect. Frontal carina absent. WH 1.0 × LH. WF 0.6 × WH. WF 1.0 × HE. Eye large, very salient. Ocellus large. DAO 0.3 × WF. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle almost right. WOT 2.3 × DAO. OOL 0.7 × WOT. Distance of posterior ocellus to vertex crest 0.5 × DAO. VOL 0.5 × HE. Temple slightly divergent. Vertex slightly concave.

Mesosoma (Figs 13, 20). Pronotal disc and mesonotum sparsely punctate. Pronotal collar long. Pronotal declivity low. Pronotal disc 0.4 × as long as wide; anterior region 0.5× as long as wide; rounded. Notauli conspicuous, occupying one third of mesoscutum. Scutellar furrow wide, deep, not scrobiculate; corner straight. Median region of scutellum slightly coriaceous, not punctate. Median region of metanotum short, wide; inner foveae of metanotal furrow not delimited. Propodeal disc 1.1 × as long as wide; 0.5 × as high as long; areolate; lateral carina conspicuous; propodeal declivity slightly areolate; side of propodeum slightly areolate. Mesopleuron slightly coriaceous; transversal furrow conspicuous, slightly scrobiculate. Discoidal vein not pigmented.

Metasoma. Petiole short, 0.3 × as long as propodeal disc. Hypopygium (Fig. 26) 0.9 × as long as wide; posterior margin slightly trilobate; median lobe convex, wide; posterior projection short; lateral lobe slightly angulate; lateral margin posteriorly angulate; anterior pigmented line strongly pigmented, very slender. Genitalia (Figs 37–38): aedeagus slightly mesoconvex; projection of apical region ventrad absent; dorsal paramere slightly longer than ventral paramere, more narrow than ventral paramere, inner margin straight, outer margin straight; membranous region of basiparamere with apical corner strongly developed; sclerite on volsella base present.

FEMALE unknown.

Distribution. Thailand (Prachuab Khiri Khan, Kanchanaburi).

Variation. Vertex almost straight.

Remarks. It is similar to C. vancum sp. nov. by having the mandibular subupper tooth very small, the apical margin of median clypeal lobe straight, the eyes and ocelli large, the frontal angle of ocellar triangle almost right. However, C. pongum sp. nov. has the median lobe of posterior hypopygeal margin convex with median projection short, the membranous region of basiparamere with apical corner strongly developed, and the dorsal paramere slightly longer than ventral paramere, whereas C. vancum sp. nov. has the median lobe of posterior hypopygeal margin angulate with median projection long, the apical corner of membranous region of basiparamere not developed, and the dorsal paramere about as long as ventral paramere.

It is also similar to C. salum sp. nov. by having the anterior region of pronotal disc rounded, the median region of metanotum short and wide, the dorsal paramere slightly longer than ventral paramere, the volsella base with a long sclerite. However, C. pongum sp. nov. has the subupper tooth very small, the apical margin of median clypeal lobe straight, the temple slightly divergent, the inner foveae of metanotal furrow not delimited, the hypopygium with posterior margin slightly trilobate, median lobe convex and margin lateral angulate posteriorly, the dorsal paramere more narrow than ventral paramere, whereas C. salum sp. nov. has the mandibular teeth equally sized, the apical margin of median clypeal lobe angularly concave, the temple almost parallel, the inner foveae of metanotal furrow delimited, the hypopygium with posterior margin strongly trilobate, median lobe angulate, and lateral margin slightly convex, the dorsal paramere almost as wide as ventral paramere.
