Subgenus Pediopsoides (Pediopsoides) Matsumura, 1912
Pediopsoides Matsumura, 1912: 305.
Pediopsoides (Pediopsoides), Hamilton, 1980: 896.
Type species. Pediopsoides formosanus Matsumura, 1912, by original designation.
Remarks. The nominate subgenus Pediopsoides (Pediopsoides) can be distinguished from other subgenera by the following combination of features: 1) pronotum with oblique striations; 2) forewing with two anteapical cells; 3) dorsal connective armed only at apex and freely attached to tenth tergite, 4) male pygofer side without articulated lobe, and 5) male pygofer process bifid or with fine teeth.
Distribution. Oriental region: China, Japan and India.
