Tupiperla misionera Froehlich 2002

Description

Tupiperla misionera Froehlich 2002

Tupiperla misionera Froehlich, 2002: 38.

Material examined. Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul State, Santa Margarida do Sul; September 20, 2013; 1 male, 1 female; light trap in forest; M. R. Spies.

Remarks. The above specimens represent a new country record for Brazil. Types of T. misionera and T. flinti Froehlich 2002 were collected in Misiones, Argentina near the southern border of Brazil (Froehlich, 2002). It is likely that T. flinti may also occur in southern Brazil.
