Trachylestes turneri (Miller, 1958)

Penthikocleptes turneri Miller, 1958: 79. Trachylestes turneri: Malipatil, 1991: 938.
Description. The species has been adequately described and illustrated (as Penthikocleptes turneri) by Miller (1958), the followings are the additions:
Measurements (of holotype male of the junior synonym P. t ur n e r i first, followed by of a non-type female). Body length 9.0, 8.0; maximum width 2.70, 2.17. Length head 2.00, 1.89, width across eyes 1.08, 1.06, interocular space 0.56, 0.54, interocellar space 0.36, 0.36, eye-ocellar space 0.16, 0.13, eye length 0.44, 0.46, eye width 0.26, 0.25. Lengths of antennal segments: I, 2.40, 2.27, II, 1.16, 1.21, III, 0.76, 0.80, IV, missing, missing. Pronotum median length 1.60, 1.72; width posterior margin 2.25, 2.00. Scutellum length 0.73, 0.71, width 0.90, 0.74. Length hemelytra 5.40, 4.88; length corium 3.60, 3.28; width membrane 1.80, 1.68.
Distribution. Western Australia, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and South Australia.
Type material examined. Holotype ♂, Western Australia, Yanchep, 32 miles [ca. 50 km] N of Perth, 24.xi.- 2.xii.1935, R.E.Turner (B.M.1936-28); NHML.
Other specimens examined. New South Wales: Sydney, Lea (1 ♂, SAM). South Australia: Little Desert, 29.x.1950, F.E. Wilson (1 ♀, SAM).
