Description
Genus SCLEROCONCHA Skogsberg, 1920
This genus is represented by eight species in the Southern Ocean: Scleroconcha flexilis (Brady, 1898), S. sculpta (Brady, 1898), S. appelloefi Skogsberg, 1920, S. arcuata Poulsen, 1965, S. edentata Hartmann, 1986, S. gallardoi, Kornicker, 1971, S. frons Kornicker, 1975,, S. wolffi Kornicker, 1975. Only S. gallardoi and the new species S. tuberculata were found in our material. S. pix Kornicker, 1996, S. solox Kornicker, 1995 are known from Australia.
