Coeliades pisistratus Fabricius 1793

Description

204. Coeliades pisistratus (Fabricius, 1793)

WL: 25mm. The species is distributed along tropical Africa, but is absent from the extreme biotopes: rain forests, very dry savanna and desert. The caterpillars feed on Asclepiadaceae, Fabaceae, Combretaceae and Malpighiaceae.
