Distr.: USA (California to Texas, Florida), Central America, circum-Caribbean from Mexico (Yucatán, Morelos, Sinaloa) to Colombia (Meta (Puerto López)) and Venezuela. Refs.: Spinelli & Wirth, 1984c: 678; Borkent & Spinelli, 2007: 76.
