Description

Genus Diallactia Gagné, 2004

Diallactia —Gagné 2004: 45 (new replacement name for Diallactes Kieffer, 1894). Type species, Diallactes croceus Kieffer, by original designation.

This small genus of two Holarctic species is readily distinguishable from other Diallactiini by the wing venation and male genitalic structures (Jaschhof & Jaschhof 2013: figs 24–25). Knowledge about the morphology of larvae was summarized by Spungis (1985); information with relevance to adults can be found in the revision by Jaschhof & Jaschhof (2013).
